  We were staying at a rest stop 65 kms from Ballina when we noticed our four-legged son, Milo, was not well. Rang the emergency number at 7-40pm and spoke to Dr Toni Kealy, who not only diagnosed correctly over the phone but said she would meet us at the clinic in one hour. On the way there we were afraid he was not going to make it. We arrived at the clinic at 8-40pm, just as Dr Toni turned up. She reopened the clinic and had already called her assistant Jayne for back-up. No time was lost in examining and x-raying our beloved dog. By 10pm he was undergoing life-saving surgery caused by a twisted stomach (GDV). All the while we were advised that he might not make it and, as hard as it was, we totally appreciated her honesty. Surgery was completed around midnight and our pet was still being monitored at 2-45am. He had to stay in post-op care for a couple of nights and we were grabbing every small positive sign optimistically. He is now recovering slowly almost one week later. Each day we see improvement and he is getting back to the fun-loving, cheeky and affectionate 11 year old pup we know and love. We cannot put into mere words the gratitude and respect we have for the staff at VetLove (as it's now called). Without their compassionate, professional and timely actions - our beloved pet would not be with us. Thank you again to Dr. Toni, Practice Manager Jayne Wilson and Vet Nurses Brooke Convery and Kalinda Clarke - your dedication went above and beyond.   You guys (ladies) are amazing to say the least. I LOVE my dogs more than words can say, and you treat them like they are apart of your family too! No matter what my fur-kids need, you deliver with awesome kindness and professionalism. This i thank you all for, love your work, more than you know.

  I wouldn't recommend this vet. I was very disappointed with there service. My cat was bitten by a tick and had to be put down. It was an emergency appointment which we paid good money for. They were extremely rude and disrespectful of us. I won't be going back. I used to like Anne and David but don't like the new ones.

  Our experience was very caring, respectful and most of all professional. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is to much trouble and they are flexible, when it comes to our needs. Are animals are used to being handled by Ros, she is a true professional and she makes sure that they are healthy and well taken of, at all times. We are more than happy with their service and we will continue to use their service now and in the future.
