  I have rarely experienced such excellent customer service. I would mention Chey in particular, who went above and beyond to ensure that my glasses fit me absolutely perfectly. The arms were adjusted, nose-bridge adjusted and tint altered so that I ended up with my perfect pair of glasses. I would highly recommend visiting Ballina Specsavers if you appreciate above-and-beyond customer service, a friendly atmosphere and finding your perfect pair of glasses.

  This is not an isolated incident either. Just 2 days before my initial visit they had tried the exact same pressure sales tactic on my elderly mother. As they made her feel very un easy, She ended up going to a competitor to get her glasses....

  Unfortunately rather blase in dealing with customers. Tweed Heads store is a lot more professional bit of a nuisance having to travel the distance to Tweed, but more than worth it in actually feeling appreciated as a customer and not just as a inconvenience as the Ballina store made me feel . I buy 3 pairs od glasses a year so not real smart on Ballina stores behalf.

  This was when I realised the fraud and so I told them that I just wanted to get lenses for my existing frames as was specified on my prescription and nothing more. Even if you have a script and subsequently have already claimed Medicare the first time, specsavers ignores that fact and tries to pressure people who have existing scripts into another eye test and to hand over their Medicare card so they can get their government money.

  Really helpful and professional staff who went to the trouble of explaining what was going on in my particular case. When it came to choosing the glasses, the lady was really helpful, calling on the other staff to help us finalise the call. Store was super busy too. Thanks Specsavers Ballina!

  Went in to purchase some new lenses for my glasses, having already obtained a script from my own Ophthalmologist \ eye surgeon that I have been going to for over 10 years. Which was dated just 2 days before going into specsavers Ballina.

  Upon arriving at the Specsavers Ballina location I handed them the script and told them what I required. I was taken out the back and sat down and told by the assistant (who I know is not an optometrist because she used to work at a local bank branch as a teller not very long ago) to put on the test glasses that she had put the lenses in She the got out the test glasses put in the round lenses and said "Have a look out the front at the signs over the road an see if thats alright" It wasn't....I couldn't see a damn thing....
